Samy Blusseau

PhD in applied mathematics

I graduated with a PhD in 2015 in applied mathematics at CMLA, ENS Cachan, under the supervision of Rafael Grompone von Gioi and Jean-Michel Morel.

I am interested in applied mathematics, image analysis, computer vision and human vision.

During my thesis, I compared human subjects to computer vision algorithms on perceptual grouping tasks.

Then I worked as a postdoc at the psychology school of the University of Southampton (UK) with Wendy Adams, Erich Graf and James Elder. During that project I worked  on modeling the perception of surface orientations.

I am currently doing another postdoc in mathematical morphology at Telecom ParisTech (LTCI) and Mines ParisTech (CMM) with Isabelle Bloch, Yann Gousseau, Jesus Angulo and Santiago Velasco-Forero.

Here is my CV.
